Install MotoTrac on your phone
No app store needed. Add MotoTrac to your home screen in a few taps — it opens full screen with its own icon, and it's always up to date.
iPhone and iPad
- Open mototrac.info in Safari
On iOS 16.4 or later you can use Chrome or Edge too. - Tap the Share button
It's at the bottom of the screen on an iPhone, and at the top right on an iPad. - Tap Add to Home Screen
Scroll down the list to find it. Not there? Tap Edit Actions at the bottom and add it. - Tap Add
MotoTrac's yellow icon appears on your home screen. Open it from there and sign in once.
Android phones and tablets
- Open mototrac.info in Chrome
Samsung Internet, Edge and Firefox also let you add it to your home screen. - Tap Install if a bar pops up
That's all there is to it. If nothing pops up, carry on to the next step. - Tap the menu then Install app
On some phones it says Add to Home screen → Install. - Tap Install
MotoTrac appears on your home screen and in your app drawer, like any other app.
Windows, Mac and Chromebook
- Open mototrac.info in Chrome or Microsoft Edge
Works on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. - Click the install icon in the address bar
No icon? In Chrome open the menu → Cast, save and share → Install page as app. In Edge open … → Apps → Install this site as an app. - Click Install
MotoTrac opens in its own window, with an icon in the Start menu, dock or shelf. - Using Safari on a Mac?
On macOS Sonoma or later choose File → Add to Dock.
Common questions
Is MotoTrac in the App Store or Google Play?
Not yet — and you don't need it to be. MotoTrac is a web app: you add it to your home screen straight from your browser, and it opens full screen with its own icon just like an app from a store.
Is it free to install?
Yes. Installing costs nothing and there's nothing to download from a store. The Basic plan is free for one vehicle; Pro is £3.99 a month or £39 a year for unlimited vehicles and email reminders.
How do I update it?
You don't have to. The app always loads the latest version of MotoTrac, so new features and fixes appear automatically.
Will my data be the same on my phone and computer?
Yes. Your garage is stored in your MotoTrac account, so the same vehicles, fuel log and service history show on every phone, tablet and computer you sign in on.
Does it work without signal?
You need an internet connection to load and save your records. If you open it with no signal you'll see a message asking you to try again.
How do I remove it?
Delete it like any other app: press and hold the icon and choose Remove or Uninstall. On a computer, open the app, click the menu in its title bar and choose Uninstall. Your account and records are not affected.
